Sunrooms
Sunrooms and screened porches have become very popular in the Wisconsin area. Often they become a client's favorite room in the house! Sunrooms are glassed-in rooms that may be used all year long. They are bright and airy, but still feel like an interior space. Houseplants thrive in them! Often they can be heated and cooled with a home's existing HVAC system. There are no windows in a screened porch, only walls of screen. Because they are not heated, they're generally used for only three seasons of the year. Many clients prefer screened porches to sunrooms, however, because they offer a purely outdoor experience. You feel the wind and hear the birds, yet you don't experience the mosquitoes.
